In the sports section also university has huge playground and excellent sports facilities for sportspersons. Many students have played national level in volleyball and football from the university. Square house is a club run by students in the university for cultural functions
I chose this course because of my keen interest in teaching and my dream of being a good teacher so that I can serve the society. Faculty Student ratio was 1:50. Faculty was very we qualified and their way of encouraging students to become efficient and well qualified teachers was excellent and commendable. Term exams were conducted timely in first year but due to corona virus or covid-19 online classes and online exams were held in second year.
The fee structure was fixed for both years. Rs. 25000 we're charged annually for both years, no extra fee was taken. No fee hikes were done during the course duration. Fee for this programme was equivalent as compared to any other competitive universitirs. As such not many scholarships were provided as it is a private university, though financial assistance is provided if students are ready to assist professors.
To begin with, I was interested in software development and wanted to learn more related to that so I chose computer science. Faculty members all were experienced and was good among students. Exams pattern will be followed like after each unit, the unit test will be conducted and after finishing 2 units IA will be conducted, after finishing the syllabus model exam for both lab and theory will be conducted so students can learn easily.
They are encouraging students those who want to become an entrepreneur based on their field they are interested. It can be their own core based field or other fields when it comes to project and clarification students are allowed to do mini projects from the 2nd year which paves way for innovation and is very well encouraged by faculty members.
Required books are available for each department and students can avail themselves anytime they want each classroom is provided with a projector but the audio will be not much audible sports and extracurricular activities are appreciated by the faculties and students are most welcome.
The library is world-class and has books of all kinds of authors in the curriculum. The classroom is fully furnished,AC, and has a projector as well to improve the teaching experience. Basketball, Cricket ground, the tennis court is there for sports lovers. Other than that there is huge lush ground for events like "KALRAV". Multiple clubs are present both run by students and college like ROBOTICS,CAC,YAVANIKA etc which enriches the club culture overall.
From the 3rd year onwards, students are eligible for placements. Some of the leading companies like Wipro, Ernst and Young, ICICI Bank, Royal Bank of Scotland, and Bajaj Capital through campus placement drives. The highest package offers is 4 lpa and the lowest is around 1lpa. The average is 2.5 lpa. Almost every student gets an internship though. My plan after getting the degree is to pursue higher studies. 30% of students do get placed.
I chose this course beacuse I like the oratory and theoretical aspect of this course. Facutly: student ratio is good (30:1) Faculty is highly qualified. The teaching method is good enough to make you industry ready and is easily understandable as well. Exams happen semseterly and they are pretty easy to pass .
Campus placement occurs in last year of course. Many agriculture-related companies are come for campus placement like rasi., Jk seeds, kailash, seeds and many more. 50 percent student get placed in private companies and remain prepare for higher studies. Highest package is around 7 lakh per annum and minimum 4 lakh per annum and average is 5 lakh per annum. My plan is not get placed because i will go for higher studies.
I choose this course because I have too much interest in agriculture courses so I decided to get admission in this course. Faculty is too all the professors are well qualified and have too much experience in teaching. College have semesters means 2 semesters in one year student have to study hard and gain to much practical knowledge to get a pass in semester examination.
It has two types of fee structures first Free seats I which students get to paid only 50 percent fee aprox 8000 per semester and the second one is payment seats have to pay 24000 per semester. According to government scheme students of reservation quota get scholarship and the medhavi students get there fee return at end of year.
There would be a lot of events and contests conducted. But it has been halted due to covid. It will surely be back with a bang. The labs and libraries are very well equipped. Classrooms are well lit and ventilated. Every classroom has a projector. There is a basketball court and a multipurpose ground for sports enthusiasts. There are also various clubs at the department levels.
There are about 60 students in every classroom. Each student also has a mentor whom they can approach for any issues. The semester-end exams are conducted according to the VTU guidelines and the syllabus. One can ace it easily. The syllabus will be covered completely. The teaches are highly qualified. They are very supportive and are always ready to help.
The college provides placement training through the TYL Cladses( tie your laces). All students who clear the TYL criteria become eligible for placements. About 100+ companies visit the college for recruitment through which nearly 80% of the students get placed. The highest CTC offered is 25 LPA and average CTC is 5.5 LPA
Many companies provided internships. Like avasoft, aspire, etc. They offered roles are software engineer, junior python developer, etc. An internship in forgoing technologies is an excellent place for starting a future career. The Company is a stark example of a strong and resilient corporate culture, developed mentor system, and support for newbies. Here you will get assistance and advice on how to do something better and, what is also important, your proposals will be heard and are likely to be used.
The normal fee was 80,000 and they saw my cut-off, reduced to 60,000. They also provide the first graduate but I was not eligible. In college they are many job opportunities, companies like aspire, avasoft, TCS, CTS, Wipro et. Companys. Most IT companies are came for placement in the 7th semester and in 8th-semester core companies are came for placements
Life at the campus was too good. And those are unforgettable. It was too friendly with faculties. In the library they are many books and not only subjects books they are many books for knowledge. Many IEEE seminars, sports matches like cricket, basketball etc.. were held. NSS are also conducted in our college.
Pratispardha is an annual fest for the youth this fest is approx for 3 days which is conducted in February or March. Central library membership at takshashila parisar, provide every kind of book. The library that is well stocked with books, Indian journals, newspapers, periodicals .there are many activities in which students get engaged like music, dance, painting etc there are a lot of fests, events, sports, tournament, location is also good and it's safe such an amazing journey I had enjoyed.
I had chosen MBA in hr because I am want to know or learn something innovative about human resources ie. How to lead them, how to manage because these all things we face in our real life also, so I just want to face it in a practical manner that's why I chose MBA in hr. Faculties are very well known expertise, all are topic wise experience have an academic professional with over 25 years or more than teaching, research and administrative experience. And the student ratio of ims davv is 95%.
The academic fee of the MBA full time offered by the institute of management studies, davv Rs72444, the package offered to students at ims davv range between Rs 3.5 to 6.5 LPA. The institute has maintained an excellent placement record over the years .about 75% of students at ims davv get placement under well - reputed companies every year.
The most startling feature of life in DU is its social life. There are multiple societies and clubs that you can be a part of, like dramatics society, film club, Women Cell, Adventure Club, Vivekananda club, etc. In Miranda House itself, there are multiple fests going around every year, from Diwali Fests to Christmas Carnival to department fests. The final event is the annual college fests which will come with various other events like dance or debate competitions, etc. There are multiple inter-college sports events. Miranda House also offered free Taekwondo classes, and you do not need to be a player before applying for that. There are some other sports also that you can join without being a player prior to joining, this depends on each college. Each department also has its own website or magazine. Most of these clubs are run by students only. The nearby areas are Kamla Nagar and Hudson Lane which offer a vast number of clubs and student-friendly markets and stationaries.
I did Physics Hons. from Miranda House, DU. I chose DU because I was aware of the infinite opportunities one receives here. First-of-all, it's a prime location in Delhi that provides its attention from all spheres and spectrum. I chose this course because firstly, I was from PCM background and secondly, I felt that Miranda House particularly has its own research lab for physics which will provide me with great opportunities to learn. The course had a total of 120 students, divided into two batches of 60 each. During the labs, each batch will be headed by two teachers plus multiple lab assistants. The teachers were highly qualified and had multiple years of experience in research. The difficulty of exams depended on teachers for internals and the term exams were usually alright. Even if there are discrepancies, DU is always open to such queries. Teachers also make sure that you have properly gone through the previous year papers and have understood the format.
DU is a government organization so fees are very minimal. It varies depending on the course and college you have opted for. Courses with more labs will be more expensive than courses with fewer or no labs. Hikes are not very frequent and DU also offers a democratic set-up to question any unreasonable hike. Getting a hostel is very difficult in DU so you may have to spend mainly on lodging and accommodation. There are many scholarships and awards provided on the basis of your performance every year. These are different for each college. There are some government scholarships that anyone can opt for. The easiest job that one can take on-campus is tuition. One can easily find tuition centres or start home tuitions in nearby areas like Kamla Nagar, Hudson Lane, or Model Town. Internships are also quite easy to be found and a basic stipend of upto 5k can be earned.
I want a career in finance and for that this seems like the best course available. The faculty is great and very supportive. The faculty for my course are very experienced and they provide much practical knowledge with the theoretical knowledge. They help the students with everything. Exams were always conducted on time and the exam pattern follow Bloom's taxonomy, so all the questions start from basic level to highest level.
Life at the campus is very full. The campus provides various societies like midraksh is dance society, khidmat is CSR based society, paigaam is theatre society, and there are many more societies and volunteering groups. Sports arena provides all types of sports, there are many famous cafe's branches in the campus, the fest is conducted for whole days for 2-3 days and they are always full of activities.
Fees structure is a little high but scholarship is provided in levels like 95% and above scoring, students can get 100% scholarship whereas 85 to 95% students can get 80% of scholarship. Financial assistance is provided, Punjab national bank is directly connected with Manav Rachna to help students get education loans easily.
Annual fest conduct by DSW of college in the month of November and library are very good in my colleges they are many libraries are there in which centrally library is there with all books availability and sports arena is very good and Manav Rachna famous for shooting and many societies and clan Are there in the campus who conducted events.
Because I want to start my own business. The faculty of Manav Rachna is very good and polite and the student ratio is upto 30 to 40. All teachers are highly qualified. They have done PhD and the way of teaching is simple and easy. We had three exams in one sem two sessional and 1 semester exam. Exams are little bit difficult.
The student got eligible for placement in the 5th semester. The company visited the campus are related to business development and sales and development. Highers package offered by the company is 6.4 lakh and the lowest is 2.8 lakh. 20% of students get placements. I want to go for Mba.
I chose this course because it has a lot of scopes to get into the corporate world after doing this. Faculty to student ratio is around 1:16 which is pretty good and personal attention is given to students. The faculty is very knowledgeable and have all professional degrees to be qualified for their position. They even upload classes on youtube so that any student who missed the class can watch it later. Term exams are conducted twice a year and they are fairly easy to pass.
Corpomaze is the annual fest of our college which is conducted in February. All sorts of books are available in the library and they can be issued by using an id card. Classes are digitalised however the tables and chairs are broken which make it tough for students to concentrate. Sports are promoted in the college and coaches for different sports are present. There are several societies run by students for dance music and theatre as well
There have been no hikes in the fees of the college because the college can takes arbitrary decisions regarding fees as it is under the Delhi University. The cost to study in the college is nothing compared to private colleges. No scholarships or financial assistance are provided which is justified because the college fees are just 8000 per year.
I choose it because I want to start my business so that's why selected BBA right for me. The facilities are really nice and good and the strength of my class is 27. The teaching method is very good and nice. 3 times exam happens in 1 sem 2 sessional and 1 end sem. And it's quite difficult to pass.
In the 5th semester, students become eligible for campus placement. After getting a degree, I will go for a job. The minimum percent of getting placements is above 75%. The highest package is around 12 lakh and the average package is all about 8 lakh for the students.
The name of the fest is the RESURRECTION conducted in the college. The Availability of books & journals in the library is also too good. Students can also participate in sports and curricular activities on campus. Internshala is run by the students.
The in campus sports are too good with football, tennis, badminton a cricket and a basketball court. if u want a college life full of fun u should definitely come here . The only con is that the outing facility is not good and only twice a month however a whole market is been established on the campus only.
I choose this course as the college is very prestigious with a long history passing the exams is easy if you had your basics clear the term exams are twice a year the student ratio is very good according to what I had expected. The faculty is very good with good qualifications.
The fees are actually very good as it is a government university with only 48 thousand tuition fees after that also there are different scholarships that one can opt for example EWS. On campus jobs are high which is 70%. One with good academic marks can easily grab a job.
I choose CSE as I'm interested to pursue my web development hobby as a career. This course basically helps us to learn all about computers with depth knowledge of how it works. In VIT faculty are well equipped with their knowledge in their respective field and are available to clear doubts whenever students reach them. The student's ratio is 1:1 and it's a very nice environment and a social environment where you will make lots of friends and won't be alone. Here, every faculty is a PhD holder and they provide material in both offline and online mode. IN offline mode we have class notes and in the online mode, we have a presentation uploaded on the college online portal. In VIT exams are called FAT and CAT where CAt is like a midterm exam and FAT is the final exam. They are easy to pass and sharpen your skills as only important questions are asked in the exam.
From the 5th semester companies start coming for internships and from the 7th semester, the company comes for jobs. Every company gives a handsome stipend and salary and everyone gets equal opportunities for applying and mostly students get placed with a package above 6LPA. About 150+ companies visited in the 5th semester which offer stipends above 40,000/- and CTC above 10LPA. The highest package offered in the year 2020 is 75LPA from an MNC and 25LPA from amazon and other big firms. Every student was trained well from the 5th semester for company interview rounds which made it easier to get placed with the right guidance.
Advitya is the annual fest which takes place in VIT where everyone gets a chance e to perform whatever they wish to either solo or in a team. Every club has an exhibition. Celebrities are called like nucleya and other bands including stand-up comedians. In library have every book and if by chance some books are not available then library order it asap for students. Every classroom is equipped with smart boards and green boards for both types of lectures. Students can take part in any sports they like for example cricket, football, Table tennis, squash, basketball, volleyball, etc.
This college has belonged from the local area so big companies didn't come here. Only a little bit of students got selection in this college. I will try to get a job outside after completing this course. The college said that the highest package of these college students is 6 lakh per annual.
I am an IT course student of BTech and I chooses it because there is great scope in this field. The student and teacher ratio is 10:1. The way of teachers teaching is normal not so good and there was no difficulty face during the exam. I easily pass my year
The campus is normal not that good there is one big field and two little gardens. Didn't play any game because there is no good organisation in the game field and the library have very few books all students did not get the proper book.
I chose this course because it has more scope in the future and I wanted to complete my master's degree with my bachelors. The faculty: student ratio varies in between classes, since VIT has an FFCS system, under which at the start of every semester(except first), you can choose your faculty and time slot to create your desired timetable. In general, for most core/technical classes, there were 40-50 students in each class, but for management or Humanities courses it can go upto 60-65. Generally, all Faculty(except lab assistants) will have a PhD. There are 3 exams in VIT each semester, namely CAT1, CAT2 and FAT. FAT is the end-semester test and will be conducted for 80 marks which will contribute 40% to your final grade. Similarly, both CATs will be conducted in between the semesters and is of 30 marks which will contribute 15% to your final grade. So, both CATs and FAT contribute 70% to your final grade(15+15+40). Rest 30 % is reserved for internal quizzes and assignments by Faculty.
The Library is pretty big and well equipped and a lot of students go there to study during exam weeks. Classrooms are also pretty big with amenities like projectors, digital screens etc. There are a LOT of clubs and societies in VIT Chennai. It has its own campus chapters for CodeChef, IEEE, Rotaract and many more organisations. IT also has a Debate society, Nature Society, Entrepreneur cell, Developer's clubs and several outreach societies like VITeach(where students volunteer to teach elementary kids in nearby communities for free). You will most certainly find some club/society to join here.
The cost of programmes in VIT is pretty comparable to that of IITs. The administration clearly mentions how much you have to pay each year of your programme in your admission letter and they don't change it for you during the programme duration. VIT does have a financial scholarship scheme if your family income is less than 1 Lakh rupees and you are performing well. Also, if you get a good rank in VITEEE, you will get a scholarship.
The highest Placement is around 30 LPA every year. Placements About 25-30 % placed in my course. The package range is 2 - 4 Ipa. So an average of 3 Ipa students got who were placed. Top recruiting companies were byjus, vedandtu, Accio jobs, Tata, Wipro, and other top recruiting MNCs About 25 % of students of my course got internships. They got internships in Internshala, Codeninja, Super77 and much more. They got roles in the managing field, tech field, Hr and some other top posts also got by students.
I choose this course because I love mathematics very much. The faculty and student ratio is standard. Since all the rules and regulations are followed by SOPs ( standard operating protocols ). Faculty infrastructure is superb. All teachers are past iitians, niitians, iims and many other top institutions of our country. Their teaching method is superb. They clear every doubt of students. Semester papers were held and they are normal as usual so that all students get equal opportunity.
Many cultural and social events were held in university on a regular basis. The annual fest is also celebrated in Feb or March. Go around 3 -5 days. Clubs , libraries and sports are highly engaged for student development . Classrooms are very much supported by tech.
The course curriculum is good but the delivery of the content by faculty members is not good at all. Faculty : Student ratio:20 : 1. Some of the teachers are good having good qualifications( including PhD, Mtech) who teaches really well but you will find these teachers only in 1st or 2nd year. Exams were held on time with equal intervals/gaps including MST1(mid-Sem-1) , MST2(mid-sem-2) , final Exams. Exams were not as difficult to pass as it seems but you know just like time is "relative" , exams are also "relative" .
From 7th Sem Student is eligible for campus placements. There are no Internship opportunities provided by the Unversity. From CS/IT perspective: Various Service based and some product based companies visit every year (like Infosys, Wipro, Hashdin, Josh Technology, Amazon etc]. In Cs/It about 90%placements but for others branches like Mechanical, civil, etc. it comes down to 40-50% My plan is after completing a degree studies abroad.
Fees structure: On an average of 40k - 50k per Sem. Just like other govt universities, no faculty discusses scholarship opportunities, you have to keep in touch with the student section to get to know about scholarship opportunities and sometimes they didn't know either. Very few opportunities for Jobs as compared to other colleges like NIT and IIT's.
I choose computer science and engineering because in this course more opportunities are available and also it is a versatile course. In our college, faculty are good in numbers and ratio about this course is around 200 students for computer science and engineering. In our college faculty members are experienced more than 5 yrs some of them have 15 to 20 yrs experience and they teach very well. About the exams, our college takes exams in about 2 months and with quality questions.
Placement for college is good and it is increased in the current year. From the 3Rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Capgemini, Infosys, Paytm, PayPal, Tata company, Wipro, Adani are some companies that visited our college. In our college, there is the highest package of 41 lakh and average package about 5 lakh. Skills and knowledge of students getting placement.
Every year, gatherings and many co-curricular activities are conducted by the college. Also conducted many programs which enhance the skills of students for Better future life. About the library, A rich collection of 19899 titles and 60272 volumes of reference and textbooks. Also rotract club there, CSI program there, walk with world club there.
Though we are the first batch of B-Tech we do not have any idea about B-tech placement Diploma has three pass out batches and they have got 14k to 15k average salary offered by the companies near Durgapur, Howrah division. So we are expecting to get a good placement because KNU is always competing with JU for the engineering division. I want a job after the 7th sem. If any one of our university authorities sees my review please provide us with good placement. The pass out of 2019 and 2020 of Diploma in Metallurgical Engineering are also getting offers still now from Training and Placement Cell to reach out company directly.
We are in 5th sem only but HOD, Director & TPO promissed us to provide internship at IIT KGP, IIT Bombay, NML Dhanbad, Tata Steel, Tata Metaliks, JSPL, Jai Balaji Steels and some other companies at Howrah division and Durgapur Division. They have said that after this sem means in the 6th sem we will get internship opportunities and also in 7th sem. But recently NML (National Metallurgical Laboratory) arranged a one month Industrial Training on Metallurgy and we are the participants of that.
Campus life is good, classrooms are very nice, common rooms, gym, playground, canteen, auditorium, water atm all are there in the campus of KNU. Digital libraries, normal libraries all are available with huge books stock. Sem books are provided by the book bank. All social programs are arranged by the University authority. IIE cell has different groups like entrepreneurship team, innovation team and many other groups under IIE are there.
